FLOC (SOCKS)

The very smallest dirt particles cannot always be filtered out by a filtration system. Fortunately, there is a solution: flocculant. This product makes small dirt particles stick together. Several very small dirt particles combine to form a single dirt large enough to remain in the filter. Sometimes a white layer remains on the bottom after using this product. These are coagulated dirt particles that sink. You can easily remove these with a pool hoover.
